O-1 visa

O-1 visa supportfor game artists

For game artists, technical artists and VFX artists moving to the US. We turn your work, career and industry standing into an evidence package that holds up against the O-1 criteria. A licensed US immigration attorney handles the legal filing.

Who it is for

Game Artists

Concept, character and environment artists with shipped titles and public work.

Technical and VFX Artists

Materials, shaders, procedural and real-time VFX. Work that lives inside a project and needs turning into verifiable evidence.

Artists with a US Opportunity

An offer, contract or letter of intent in hand, and a few months to get the package ready.

The six O-1B criteria

O-1B for the arts requires at least three of the criteria below, or a major international award. Our job is to find which ones you can meet and make the evidence solid.

  1. 01

Lead Role in Productions with a Distinguished Reputation

A key position on a well-known game or project.

How we help you prove it

Credits, release records, role scope and team size, each with a public source.

  2. 02

    National or International Recognition

Reviews, press or publications that mention your work.

How we help you prove it

Press, ArtStation features and industry interviews collected; gaps worked on.

  3. 03

Critical Role for a Distinguished Organization

Leading a team or setting direction at a known company.

How we help you prove it

Employment letters, org context and manager letters that explain why the role was critical.

  4. 04

    Major Commercial or Critical Success

    Projects with measurable results.

How we help you prove it

Sales, review scores, awards and rankings tied to your contribution.

  5. 05

Recognition from Organizations, Critics or Experts

    Judging, teaching, awards, peer citations.

How we help you prove it

Judge invitations, teaching records and award letters assembled as sourced documents.

  6. 06

    High Remuneration

Pay at the top of the field.

How we help you prove it

Contracts, tax records and third-party salary data for comparison.

How it works

  1. 01

    Eligibility Review

Each of the six O-1B criteria checked one by one: which three stand today, which ones need building.

  2. 02

    Evidence Package

Portfolio, exhibitions and awards, press, judging and teaching roles, assembled as sourced, verifiable documentation.

  3. 03

    Expert Letters

Matching you with recommenders in the industry, then drafting and editing letters that agree with the evidence.

  4. 04

    Attorney Handoff

Filing through a partner immigration attorney and following any RFE through to the decision.

Questions

O-1 needs a US petitioner, either an employer or an agent. Without an employer we assess an agent-based petition with the attorney.

Evidence preparation usually takes two to four months depending on where you start. After filing, standard USCIS processing takes months; premium processing returns a decision within 15 business days.

Jingyu charges for evidence and strategy work. Attorney fees, USCIS filing and premium processing fees are billed separately by the attorney and USCIS. You get the full fee list before signing.

Yes. The review, evidence work and letters are all remote. Only the consular interview needs you in person.

JingYu Entertainment Technology is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Filings are handled by a partner US-licensed immigration attorney.
